Is Your TV Marketing Hurting or Helping Your Image?

Posted in Branding, News with tags , , , , , , on August 29, 2008 by imperialboogie

“Why would I go with a pricier video/graphics spot for my company’s commercial when I can get the local TV station to produce it for me as a part of my advertising package?”

We’re glad you asked.

Everyone who watches cable can tell the difference between a polished professional video and a low-budget local production. You know when you see it. You can tell when you hear it. There is no comparison between the quality of HD video and motion graphics, the smooth pattern of a carefully crafted script, the harmony of product with soundtrack and imagery, versus grainy video, stock images, murky or poorly-mixed sound production and cliché scripting.

What kind of image do you want to project for your company? Clearly, the former example is vastly superior and leaves a positive impression on your customers, compared to the annoyance that can result from viewing the latter low-quality example.

In order to be effective, your advertising has to be attractive, polished and professional. If your company is trying to break into television advertising by finding the lowest possible price, it may save some money up front but the return on your advertising will also be lower.

Sure, your brand will be exposed to a large television audience but what will the advertisement say about your brand when it takes the least expensive route? Cheap advertising gives potential customers a feeling that your company is, well, cheap.

Is this really the message you want associated with your brand?

“But mine isn’t a Fortune 500 company,” you’re probably saying to yourself. “I can’t just spend money away on fancy graphics and expensive high definition video!”

Can you really afford to try reaching your audience with low quality advertising? To expand into any field of advertising without taking care to insure the quality of the result is the equivalent of throwing your money away. Actually, it’s worse than throwing your money away, because instead of simply wasting your resources, the end result of cut-rate advertising is the degradation of your company’s image to the very audience it seeks to court.

The cost of producing your next video advertisement with Imperial Boogie is a fraction of what you would expect to spend with major production houses but the quality of the work is such that it will truly enhance your image, not just prove that you can put an ad on TV.

Sure, local stations offer deals that seem too good to be true. But with a constant stream business to crank out, the chances are not very good that the station’s advertising department will give your video commercial the individual attention that it needs to effectively capture, express and promote your business.

With Imperial Boogie, however, no two scripts are the same. No two videos are alike. We guarantee the highest level of technical excellence and the strictest attention to YOUR satisfaction. It isn’t enough to simply throw together another video. Imperial Boogie is committed to a personalized approach to client satisfaction. You’re going to be so happy with the content and quality of your video that you’ll want to show it off to all your friends and family. Most importantly, your potential customers will be left with an impression of your business that is truly glowing.

Customers respond to quality and they identify their consumer desires with their perceptions of the best options available. Give your customers a reason to believe in the quality of your business.

Can Your Brand Swim Among the Sharks?

Posted in Branding, Event Marketing on August 13, 2008 by imperialboogie

Your brand image is the lifeblood and key ingredient to your success. When you think about how many images, logos and identities inundate the public on a daily basis, how do you stay at surface level in consumer’s minds? Research has shown that, on average, people see between 3,000 and 5,000 ads every day and that American business spends more than $300 billion on branding every year. We have a NASCAR culture, where every square inch is for sale, a society where companies must constantly think of new ways to target their customers.

Do you advertise in newspapers and magazines? If so, how do you gauge the success of your advertising? When over 60% of most magazine content is advertising, how do you get your ad to stand out?

Do you advertise with web banners? More importantly, do you look at web banners or do you block them out like most other Americans? When is the last time you used a banner ad to make a purchase?

Think about these strategies, and while they may be standard you must often have supplemental means of capturing & engaging your audience.

Have you tried using direct promotional marketing or event marketing to effectively advance your company’s image to your market?

Think About It: When was the last time you went out to a party or social engagement, had a wonderful time, and then returned home without any recollection of who invited you or where you had been? Never!! Of course you remember a good host. Good events create lasting impressions, and an event that focuses more on engaging your guests than it does on promoting your product will succeed in doing both. Events build relationships, and guests who have a memorable, live experience will associate that feeling with your brand.

Event marketing is a great way to break out of the mold and draw your customers’ attention away from your competitors. Let Imperial Boogie help plan, develop and produce your next promotional event. We have the ability to take your company’s image to a brand new level that will leave a long-lasting impression in the minds of your customers. From small corporate events to music festivals, we will create a completely unforgettable experience.

iB will soon be releasing an event video that highlights the quality of our productions. If you’re ready to start now, Contact us today for event services & pricing. What are you doing stand up and stand out among the vast ocean of brand images?
